The Rentor

1) A 10% deposit is required when a booking is requested. If a booking cannot be found the 10% deposit will be refunded. If the booking is made and cancelled by the rentor before the confirmation letter is received, the rentor will forfeit the deposit.

2)The full rental amount will be payable on receipt of the confirmation letter.

2) Should I (the rentor) wish to cancel the booking I (the rentor) can do so at least 3 weeks prior to check in, a 30% cancellation fee will be charged.

3) Should I (the rentor) cancel anytime less than 3 weeks before check in a 50% cancelation fee will be charged.

4) Should the government bring in restrictions as far as provincial travel for leisure is concerned due to Covid 19, I will receive a full refund.

5) Should D & S Getaways fault for any reason, a full refund will be given.

The Renter

1)The onus is on the renter to secure a confirmation for the period they wish to rent out and to ensure the levies are current.

2) Only once the rentor has successfully checked into the resort will the renter receive the full rental amount.

3) Should the rentor cancel more than 1 week in advance, all effort will be made to secure another rentor for that period. If in the unlikely event D&S Getaways cannot secure another rentor, the renter will be given ample time to bank their time with their relevant exchange company.

4) Should the rentor cancel in a period shorter than 1 week, again, all effort will be made to secure another rentor. Should that fail the renter will receive their period back and a 30% cancelation fee.

Important

• If there has not been a confirmed rentor for the period, the onus is on the renter to either space-bank their period with their relevant exchange company at least 3 weeks prior to occupation, or to make use of that period. D & S Getaways cannot be held financially or morally liable for any timeshare that has not been rented out.
